She’s a warm hug, an instant mood-lifter, and the friendly face who somehow knows everyone who walks through our doors. Meet Debbie — the most connected person in Scottsdale. If she doesn’t already know you, she will by the end of your visit.
Debbie will happily chat about anything — travel, design, or where to book dinner that night (preferably while reapplying one of the dozen lip glosses from her secret stash). To her, every client is just a conversation away from becoming part of her circle — and every home is only a few special pieces away from feeling complete.
She’s lived a life full of adventure — from her days as a flight attendant to raising twins to building a community she adores right here in Arizona. Whether she’s helping you find the perfect sofa, swapping travel stories, or sharing design inspiration, she does it all with heart, humor, and a touch of classic polish.
Debbie makes shopping at Bungalow feel like visiting an old friend. We honestly can’t imagine the floor without her.

Style, Comfort, and a Dash of Charm
Ask Debbie about her first fashion memory and she’ll take you back to her college days at the University of Missouri.
“Collar popped, pearls on — that was the look,” she laughs.
These days, her style has evolved into something effortless and approachable. “Comfortable, monochromatic, casual, laid-back, accessorized,” she says. “I like pieces that feel good to wear but still look pulled together — a good pair of The Great sweats, sneakers, and something gold never fail me.”
It’s that same mix of ease and refinement that shapes her approach to interiors, too. “I love simple, timeless design that isn’t trendy,” Debbie explains. “Clean and classic will always win me over.”

Home Is Where the Heart Lands
Debbie’s love for home grew during her years as a flight attendant.
“After long trips, nothing compared to curling up in a cozy, clean bed,” she says. “That feeling of comfort is something I love to create in my own home.”
Her current favorites? “My Lee Industries club chairs and ottoman in the kitchen — I LOVE them,” she says. “They’re the perfect mix of comfort and style.”
Whether she’s styling her own home or helping clients design theirs, Debbie gravitates toward pieces that feel timeless and lived in — like the perfect throw pillow or a beautifully textured area rug that ties a room together.

The Connector
Debbie’s approach to sales is less about selling and more about connecting.
“I start by getting to know my clients,” she says. “I love when they share photos of their favorite spaces or inspiration. From there, I work within their budget, make sure they feel comfortable, and have fun in the process.”
Her warmth and curiosity make every visit feel personal. “Whether it’s creating a whole new space or adding to what they already love, I always feel honored to be part of it,” she says.
And that personal touch doesn’t go unnoticed — Debbie’s clients often become her friends. “I’ve lived here long enough that I see people I know walk in every day,” she says. “It’s the best feeling — it makes the store feel like home.”

Family, Gratitude, and the Good Life
What keeps her grounded? “I feel like I hit the jackpot,” Debbie says. “I always joke that being one of the last of my friends to marry meant they saved the best for last. I got the most wonderful husband in the world — and boy-girl twins. There’s nothing better.”
Her joy radiates into every part of her life — from helping clients choose the perfect accessory to hosting Thanksgiving dinner. “I love gathering people,” she smiles. “It’s about creating spaces that feel welcoming and full of love.”

What Bungalow Means to Me
“I feel so incredibly lucky to work at Bungalow. The people here aren’t just my coworkers — they’re my friends (and some are even my neighbors!). Seriously, can you think of anything better than working around beautiful furniture, accessories, clothing, and the most fun group of people? We’re like a family, which makes every day so very fun.”
Her favorite piece of advice comes from Rosemarie, who reminds her:
“Debbie, you can admire something without having to buy it.”
“Trust me,” she laughs. “That’s easier said than done when Alicia and Linda fill the store with only the best.”
