Meet Ann — our style sage with more than fifty years in retail and a lifetime of wisdom in fashion, family, and finding beauty in the little things.
She’s dressed generations of women, built lasting client relationships, and continues to inspire us daily with her effortless Southwestern flair — always a touch of turquoise, always a hint of leopard. Beyond Bungalow, Ann pours her heart into her large family and her volunteer work at Hope Women’s Center, where she mentors and encourages women finding their way forward.
We’re honored to have her grace, her humor, and her joy woven into Bungalow’s story.

A Lifelong Love of Style
Ann’s earliest fashion memory takes her back to her grandmother’s closet.
“I loved looking at all her wonderful work clothes,” she says with a smile. “It felt like opening a treasure chest.”
That early fascination became a career that’s spanned every corner of retail — from surf and skate shops to maternity wear, to Banana Republic, and finally, to Bungalow, where she’s made her mark for the past several years.
“I’ve had such a varied career,” she says. “I’ve been lucky to build a loyal client base — one client has followed me through all three stores!”

The Spirit of the Southwest
Ask Ann to describe her style, and she doesn’t hesitate: “Easy, comfortable, always with a touch of turquoise and leopard print.”
It’s a signature combination that captures both her personality and the desert landscape she calls home. “I love pieces that feel lived-in but elevated,” she says. “Jewelry, especially, tells a story.”
Her most meaningful piece? “My grandmother’s squash blossom necklace,” she says. “As a little girl, I was always in awe of it. Now, it holds such beautiful memories.”
Shop Ann’s look with turquoise jewelry, statement necklaces, or a splash of animal print accessories for your own timeless twist.

Heart for People, Eye for Style
Ann’s passion for retail has always been rooted in connection. “What keeps me inspired are the people,” she says. “Getting clients out of their comfort zone, showing them pieces they might never have tried otherwise — that’s where the magic happens.”
Her clients trust her completely — not only for her styling sense, but for her sincerity. “I treat everyone who walks in like family,” she adds. “I want them to leave feeling seen, beautiful, and confident.”

A Life Filled with Family and Gratitude
At home, Ann’s world is anchored by family. “Family means everything to me,” she says. “I’m blessed with a big family, and I’m so excited to welcome my second great-great-grandchild this November.”
Her home, much like her style, tells a story. “We’ve framed my parents’ marriage certificate and my in-laws’ marriage certificate,” she shares. “They hang in our home as a daily reminder of love and legacy.”
To bring that same personal touch into your home, explore framed art and wall décor — pieces that make your space uniquely yours.

A Heart That Gives Back
Ann’s spirit of generosity extends far beyond the showroom. Her volunteer work with Hope Women’s Center is one of her greatest joys.
“The ladies at Hope are so sweet and appreciative,” she says. “They’re dedicated to turning their lives around, and it’s so rewarding to witness their strength and commitment.”
She brings that same compassion and optimism to every interaction at Bungalow — a steady reminder that style is most powerful when it’s paired with kindness.
