Meet Colleen — the woman who can truly do it all. From managing shipping + receiving to styling clients in the latest boutique fashion arrivals, she keeps the Bungalow world running smoothly — and somehow makes it all look effortless.
She’s equal parts refined and roll-up-your-sleeves: the kind of person who’ll lift a sofa with you one minute and style a client to perfection the next.
Beyond the sales floor, Colleen is a devoted wife, proud mom to three grown sons (and a new daughter-in-law!), and a world traveler who can somehow fit it all into a carry-on. She’s deeply rooted in her community, fiercely loyal, and a true mama bear to all of us here at Bungalow.
We’re so grateful for her grace, humor, and heart — the quiet strength that keeps our Bungalow family grounded.

Early Style Memories
Colleen’s love of fashion began where many great stories do — in her grandmother’s closet.
“My sister and I would play dress-up for hours,” she recalls. “We’d put on her silky nightgowns, scarves, and high heels, and finish the look with lipstick and powder. It felt like magic.”
That sense of playfulness and polish still defines her style today. “Neutrals, classics, polished with fun,” she says. “I gravitate toward timeless pieces, but I always add a little twist — a great shoe, or jewelry that makes it personal.”
For a look that mirrors Colleen’s refined ease, explore classic wardrobe staples, elevated accessories, and fine jewelry that carry understated sophistication.

A Master of Many Hats
At Bungalow, Colleen is known for her ability to jump seamlessly between roles — from coordinating logistics to styling full home installations.
“I love being busy and helpful,” she says. “I try to stay as productive as possible, and I genuinely enjoy keeping the whole Bungalow machine running smoothly.”
Her secret weapon? A balance of grace and grit. “Building relationships with co-workers and clients is everything,” she says. “Those relationships are precious. I don’t like to fail — my goal is to overperform, always with grace.”
It’s that blend of efficiency and empathy that makes Colleen a cornerstone of the Bungalow floor.

Rooted in Family, Grounded in Gratitude
When she’s not at the store, Colleen is happiest surrounded by her family.
“Raising three boys has been the highlight of my life,” she says. “I’m so grateful for my husband, who’s been the best partner and protector. Having children is such a gift — they start out sweet and innocent, then they grow, talk back, and suddenly they’re grown men building lives of their own!”
This year brought another milestone: her oldest son’s wedding. “I finally have a girl!” she laughs. “We are very blessed.”

A Life Well Traveled
Travel is a huge part of Colleen’s story — and her sense of style. “I’m an expert packer,” she admits. “Always a carry-on. My husband hasn’t checked a bag in 30 years, so I’ve had plenty of practice!”
Her travels have taken her everywhere from Utah to Buenos Aires to Patagonia, a place she calls unforgettable.
“They grow roses everywhere,” she says. “I came home inspired to embrace big open windows, natural light, and outdoor living that feels just as beautiful as indoors.”
Bring Colleen’s travel-inspired warmth into your home with textured linens, leather accents, and indoor-outdoor furnishings that blur the lines between elegance and ease.

Her Philosophy on Style (and Life)
Ask Colleen for advice and she’ll give it to you straight — but always with encouragement.
“Always be looking for opportunities to grow — in life, work, and relationships,” she says. “Don’t be afraid to fail. Sometimes failure is exactly what sparks growth.”
And her advice for getting dressed?
“Stick to classics, add great jewelry and shoes. And when in doubt…default to Suzanne — she’ll never disappoint.”

What Bungalow Means to Me
“Bungalow is so much more than a store — it’s a destination, a community, and truly a family. The style is so beautifully curated, but it’s the people who give it heart. I feel so grateful to have a space here in this family.”
